About our School

Sound Beach Day School welcomes all children and their families to our unique environment. Our staff is dedicated to a positive atmosphere where all are respected, curiosity and exploration is encouraged, collaboration with families is supported and individualism is valued.

We support learning as it occurs naturally. We follow the Reggio Emilia philosophy of student-led, project- based learning, and encourage children to explore their every unique interest and implement structured curriculum in harmony with natural curiosity. Teachers will provide support to the children with their new idea with materials, information, media etc. We believe in the value of PROCESS over PRODUCT.

Our hope is that all who attend Sound Beach Day School leave with a deep love for learning, be thoughtful of others and have confidence in their abilities.
