Our Bridge program is designed for children who have either completed a four-year program or may be at an age where they may be eligible to start kindergarten, but whose parent, teacher or other childhood professional feel they would benefit from delaying the start of kindergarten.
Our program follows the same philosophy of the Reggio Emilia and Project Approach learning. This unique program is designed to be challenging across all learning domains.
Our teachers provide experiences that are stimulating to children to promote confidence in asking questions, make predictions and problem solving, along with increased language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies and creative arts. Children build a strong love for learning that follows them through their academic years.
Sound Beach Day School aligns with the CT-Dots (CT Documentation and Observation For Teaching System) along with CT-ELDS (Early Learning and Development Standards).
