Our primary focus in this class is to develop a strong sense of voice and social skills.
The developmental stage of a three-year-old is exciting. They are eager to be independent; they want to be heard; and they begin to seek out social relationships with others. In our three’s program many areas of development are met through developmental play and exploration.
Children learn to become emotionally aware, sensitive problem solvers, and empathic teammates. Children begin developing a responsibility for themselves, their peers, and the school. They start to show interest in writing their names, and letters that intrigue them. One of our goals is for children to communicate their feelings, address a problem and have the desire to fix it. In this class, children begin diving deeper into short and long-term projects guided by the educators.
Available 5 Days (M-F)
Full time (9:00 – 3:00) or Part Time (9:00 – 12:00)
By the end of the year, we want our children to be great solo thinkers who are confident in themselves and their potential.
When you enter into the four year-old classroom you witness that children have the opportunity to make choices, explore, experiment and use open-ended materials that are readily available. We know that children learn best when they have a vested interest in the subject.
An emergent curriculum is one that builds upon the interests of children. Topics under investigation are captured from the conversations of children, through community or family events, as well as the known interests of children (puddles, shadows, animals, etc.). Children learn to read, write, investigate, communicate, problem solve and create using subject matter that is of personal interest to them as opposed to repetitive curriculum that is imposed upon them.
Literacy presents itself in many of the work the children put together throughout the year and can be seen around the classrooms and in their projects. Loose parts are used in a multitude of ways. Mathematical concepts are experienced through the building of loose parts, blocks, building projects, and outdoor exploration.

Our Bridge program is designed for children who have either completed a four-year program or may be at an age where they may be eligible to start kindergarten, but whose parent, teacher or other childhood professional feel they would benefit from delaying the start of kindergarten.
Our program follows the same philosophy of the Reggio Emilia and Project Approach learning. This unique program is designed to be challenging across all learning domains.
Our teachers provide experiences that are stimulating to children to promote confidence in asking questions, make predictions and problem solving, along with increased language and literacy, mathematics, science, social studies and creative arts. Children build a strong love for learning that follows them through their academic years.
Available Daily 3:00 – 5:30
